I am interested in how an intentional orchestration and a seemingly casual encounter with the world can both contain meaning and/or delight. My sculptures are quite intentional but want to look as if the viewer ‘came upon’ them and my videos are a mix of low-tech facility (or lack thereof) and high intensity focus. When successful, I feel the work has a push and a pull that holds it steadily in frame; at least for a particular viewer for a particular moment. Then, the viewer and I, however briefly, experience the same sense of wonder.
